Day activities

The option of daily activities for its tenants is found in the community. Many choose to attend a therapeutic activity offered by one of several private, council or voluntary organisations. Some tenants are helped to find and sustain paid employment. Others need to concentrate on overcoming the challenges of daily living; managing their finances and budgeting; visits to council offices; claiming benefits; job seeking; health appointments; attending interviews; and being helped to cope with personal relationships; anxieties etc.

Support Plans

All needs and their solutions are identified in the Support Plan which is regularly reviewed by the tenant with their support worker and his/her manager, as well as statutory reviews with the sponsoring local authority social worker. Comprehensive reports written by the individual’s care worker in consultation with the service user and read by the manager are always presented at these reviews.
